Louisiana-style hot sauce has been around since the 1700s, crafted by French-Canadians who were expelled from the north to one of the most unique and hostile regions in America. There, they developed a sauce that blends 3 simple ingredients into something that made their food taste better. No small feat when gator, gar and mudbugs are typically on the menu. It’s a sauce that is made proudly by a community who makes the most of the little resources they have – yet are incredibly generous with them. And for the past century, nobody has been making that sauce better or more authentically than The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce.
In 2025, when The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce wanted to bring its flavor to the rest of the country, we pulled the curtain back and invited everyone into the bayou. We created a platform for the brand to truly celebrate its values, heritage and flavor in a way that others can’t. Our out-of-home carries the same repurposed signage look that permeates the region. The film is actually shot on film. It’s a campaign full of messy love, wisdom and authenticity for a flavor that has been here for generations.
That’s Louisiana Hot. Bayou Some!
