Supercuts’ agency, RSP had a great campaign idea in-place for the brand with “Real. Smart. Hair.” One of our Hurleys was lucky enough to be asked to partner together and bring it to life in a national campaign.
Last year, over 23 million Americans, used their head by getting their haircut at Supercuts. To them, a great cut at a reasonable price just makes sense. Unfortunately for the brand, they’re not the type of people to brag about where they get a haircut. So, we did a little bragging on their behalf.
We created a campaign that celebrated the many types of practical people who walk into their salons every day. Dads, coaches, accountants, mechanics and more. In a prideful, tongue-in-cheek tone, we tipped our hat to what makes these people special, and why they go to Supercuts.
The campaign breathed new life into a brand that felt down on itself. Our practical people appeared nationwide on TV, and in over 2,000 salons. It also received a good amount of recognition, winning a national Gold ADDY amongst other regional and national industry awards.
