Aside from maybe Christmas, National Cereal Day is obviously the most celebrated holiday of the year. It is a day where the entire country pauses, and reflects on the true meaning of breakfast, and its important role in the start of the day. OK, that’s all a lie, BUT it is an important day for cereal lovers and the people who make cereal.
Post Cereals had historically conceded this holiday to its competitors General Mills and Kellog’s, but in 2017 we were tasked to win the day. And we did so by creating a campaign that combined the myriad of flavors Post Cereals puts on breakfast tables nationwide.
We created #cereALL to celebrate the creativity and innovation of every cereal Post produces, and put it in one big bowl for the world to enjoy. And it worked. Across all brands, we received the higher video views, engagements and impressions than General Mills and Kellogg’s combined on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hats off to Casey Nelson for writing and performing this song on basically his first day at work. Sorry Grandma Julie for using your wig.
